Frequently Asked Questions (by Goldwater Campus Representatives)
1. One of my student’s references has not sent me a Letter of Recommendation. Can I have another faculty member submit a Letter of Recommendation on behalf of the student?
Yes. After conferring with the nominee, another faculty member can be asked to write a letter for the student. You may make this substitution until the nomination period closes on the last Friday of January at 5:00 p.m. Central Time.
2. In the past, supporting materials were mailed to Scholarship America. Can we still do this?
No. All supporting materials (student essay, transcripts, letters of recommendation, nomination letter and permanent resident materials (where applicable)) must be uploaded as PDF files to the online portal.
